Engineered robust, three-part chassis/enclosure sets to: isolate vibrations from precision optics; reduce heat and contaminant damage; and ensure compatibility for diverse customer lab environments.
Designed a family of high volume consumable chip and reagent packages including the iconic, low cost SMRT™Cell 8Pac.
Educated science-oriented team members on high volume sourcing and manufacturing practices and the importance of brand-defining design.
Managed design of more than 100 precision components, along with tooling and qualification of 56 custom plastic parts.
